is it allowed to offer (for sale) a consultation on Ebay?

I (in real life) do consults on many different subjects, would it be allowed for me to offer a consult as an ebay listing?  I can't seem to find the proper answer anywhere and I for sure dont want to violate anything.

I believe you might be able to offer a consulting service under "everything Else" category.

It's prohibited. Look under prohibited list and service policy. "Personal advice or coaching."  I wouldn't try listing this. Chances of your listing getting removed are pretty high.

You don't say what sort of services you provide so you may want to read Services policy first before you list. Services may also fall under the intangible items policy as well.

You're better off posting in your local newspaper under personals.

If it's not a tangible item, it cannot be offered or sold.  Besides, eBay has a seller school (eBay Academy) for new sellers to learn and it doesn't cost them anything.  Since you've only been a seller on eBay since April,  I doubt many would seek your services as you most likely still have a lot to learn.   Sell something else.

The only whey you could do this is by writing your different subjects into like a book or similar, Then sell them on ebay, that's called a tangible product.

As it is, YouTube, etc., is thronged with people trying to teach eBay selling - it might not be worth your while, anyway, to join the crowd. It might be a better idea for an in-person service.
