Re: impression

It's boring and old news, but your most useful advertising is your Title, because that is what encourages the eBay buyer to open YOUR listing.

You have 82 keystrokes to grab his attention.

The first four words are considered the most important because more than half of buyers are using a phone and that is what they see.

Second, eBay tells us, are the Item Specifics, which are meant to get our listings on SEO (that's really just Google). The more of them you can honestly give, the more likely you are to be found in a Google Search.

Old time sellers are dismissive of IS, because they are a lot of work.  But if eBay is right about Google, they will work for us.

Personally, I like the older version of Promoted Listings, where I chose the fee I would pay and only paid it if the item sold.  I saw a huge bump in the number of Views, and while I don't think after nearly two years I have paid out more than $50* in fees over four selling accounts, my sales did jump. I believe PL brought viewers to my items and while they may not have bought the promoted item, they found other things they did want.  I use it on all of my selling accounts now.

Social media are fine for chatting with high school friends you haven't seen for 20 years, but unless you can get thousands of followers, your presence is just a drop in the ocean.

*YMMV- I chose one percent , I'm not a huge seller, and my items are very cheap. I did not use PL on anything over $25.

Re: impression

As a Sri Lankan seller, you also need a SL business license and a Payoneer account so you can get paid.

BTW, the Location should be the location from which the product will be shipped not your own location.

If your supplier is shipping from China, THAT is the location.

There are customs implications for your customer in this.

For example, I can import from Vietnam duty free, because my country has a Free Trade Agreement with Vietnam (and a dozen other Pacific Rim countries) but not from China.

Re: impression

You can use promoted listings...however looking at your listings it's a waste of time. You are selling plastic junk for very high prices and your shipping costs are even more ridiculous.  In most countries you can purchase items like these for small dollars.  No one is going to purchase these items from you only to wait months to receive them, especially at those prices.  You need to do more research, as it is clear why you don't have any sales. Ebay may not be the place for you or what you're selling.  You may want to look elsewhere for another career.  You will not suceed with items like these.  Sorry.

Re: impression

You only have 3 things listed and they are in an oversaturated category. You are also selling form Sri lanka. Sorry but most likely your will never see an increase in impressions.

Re: impression

You're selling junk from China that's way, way overpriced. Find something that is different and in demand. The items that you are selling can be had for a third of the price.

Selling junk from China that's way overpriced shouldn't prevent him from becoming #  1 seller in the relevant category.

Who cares about impressions?  I count sales and bank deposits.

Re: impression

Do you become "#1 seller in the Relevant" category by listing or by making sales?

No it shouldn't.

But, most from that country will not even make enough money to pay for those Get Rich Selling On Ebay courses they buy into, before they get booted out.

Have a great day.
