Story. I bought a toy from buy it now. It didnt arrive and I messaged the seller and asked them if they had a tracking number. They sent a tracking number and it showed it was delivered. I messaged the seller and they instantly refunded me the money. I thought that was suspicious after all wouldnt you want to look into it?
Then i noticed the item was relisted for a higher price!!! What!
So i called the carrier and asked about the tracking number. UPS gave me the shippers name, gave me the address a package was delivered, the name and address a package was delivered and the weight of the package. None of those had one single thing in common with me.
So I left negative feedback that was ugly. The seller disputed it because he could provide the tracking number and ebay sided with him, and REMOVED THE FEEDBACK! WHAT !!!???
That means they think i am lying. THIS IS **bleep**! if this is the way ebay does feedback, then i know there is no integrity in feedback, which is very important when making purchases.
Sick beyone sick. It isnt about the money, its about what this seller has said to me and called me. I am not a liar or a thief and this makes me so upset.
Ive called ebay twice and i want the feedback back! i want them to realize what this seller has done. How in the world did the seller get a tracking number to show a delivery about that same delivery time? I would never receive a package, collect a refund, then leave a negative very nasty feedback. NO seller would see that a package is tracked, received, and send a refund without looking into it. He cancelled my paid order to list it at a higher price! and the ebay rep who approved the removal of the feedback is just as bad of a POS as the seller is. I expected more from ebay!!! this is just **bleep**!

One thing you could try is to print the tracking details. Chances are this tracking number is for another package in your area and they used that tracking number to make it look like it was for your purchase.
In the tracking details you should have dates and if the dates are not the sames as your transaction that could be what you can show eBay CSR. Ask for an account specialist who deals in seller fraud. They should be able to see the fraud attempts and take action against the seller.
I doubt they will put the feedback back in place.
Also did you by any chance ask for a refund in any way in your communications with the seller? If you did that is why they refunded. If you did not the seller got an out of stock defect which is fairly serious against the sellers ratings.
Good Luck Selling!

If someone files an item not received claim and the seller refunds the buyer, they don't get an out of stock defect just because the buyer didn't ask for a refund. I'm not sure why you would say that. For example, a buyer might just ask for the tracking number and there might not be one or the seller might realize that the tracking shows the item has been mia for a while or there might not be tracking at all so the seller just refunds. No defect would be given.

You might want to check again. In order to rush to get everyone to the 14% extra fvfs ebay is changing the resolution/defect system. So far, every case filed on me has gotten me a defect, including the ones found in my favor.

Get used to it, Ebay does it constantly for higher feedback sellers and it also depends how much they can throw that sticks to the wall.
Feedback has never been worth squat and I truly wish they would abolish it in full.
Getting yourself all upset over it will not help you except to have your blood pressure go up.

Ebay, backbone and integrity.
Never thought I'd ever see those three words in the same sentence, even if it was a diss.
