A buyer is interested in 2 item I have for sale and we negotiated a price for both items. How do I send the offer for both of those item to him?

Re: how to send offer to one buyer?

The only way to send an offer to a buyer is through message "send offer" or spend offer as a special offer with a percentage or an amount off if they are watching the item. What I would say to do is place "best offer" on your listing and have the buyer make an offer on each one.

You can also send an unofficial offer through messages and if the buyer likes it, make a new listing with both items in it with a buy it now price that you all have agreed on.

Re: how to send offer to one buyer?

Why does Ebay make this kind of simple business activity so tough for sellers?  It has never gotten easier over the years.

Why can't we have a simple function like a field we put in the Item #'s and another with the buyer name and the system generates an invoice?

Decades ago yes however now Ebay is policing selling outside of Ebay. Even though you may look at it as selling within Ebay you will have people who will try to get around it.

I had the buyer send me a message from both items and then sent 2 offers. I agree it should be an easier method to do this but its Ebay ya know...

If you agree on the price, (through messaging) message them back the new listing of both items (including shipping) along with the eBay listing number so they can find it quickly. I have done this many times buying/selling and have had no issues. YMMV

Re: how to send offer to one buyer?

Just to be clear I was suggesting a mechanism **within ebay** where a seller could copy the invoice #'s and the ebay system would generate a combined invoice to the directed user name.

Having to cancel auctions and create a new single listing is laborous and inefficient.  I thought the fancy dancy "AI" solved everything!  Has anybody asked the "AI" how to do it?   It can't have anything to do with preventing crime or drug trades, the data is the same.

Coding this kind of thing with the constant tech changes outside of ebay would be a nightmare.
