all that aside, someone help the OP with contacting eBay with a call back rather than a ............   "whatever they have been presented with" ........... situation

 

I know someone can do it.

but OP @charles053-1   all nonsense aside, if not already alienated, be advised that often you can obtain answers/direction here on the community boards that will surpass the scripted answers from CS.

 

Without personal info you can ask here, and likely get some help.

 

(heat or boredom has apparently temp swayed the better judgement of some of us more than usual today)

You would have to use the "Contact Us" link and request a call back from eBay.  They no longer have a phone number you can call.  If you are using a cell, make sure your scam call blocker is off.  The numbers posted on the internet that advertise as eBay numbers are direct link to scammers. 

That said, if you have a problem, you would be much better off asking here.  The people here have more experience and know the ins and outs of eBay better than any of those outsourced foreign call center agents you will be talking to anyway. (even though it appears otherwise so far lol)   They are famous for giving WRONG information that could possibly make your situation much worse.

LOL!!! That seems like the only option! But my problem is not that serious. Tracking completely failed on two items I sent each worth about 300$. The post office said in person, face to face when I went to see why absolutely no tracking was being reported, that they NEVER received the items. WEll, long story short I issued a refund to one buyer, and literally was in the process of issuing the second when I got a message that that item had just arrived! And now I wonder if the refund can be rescinded, or do I hope the buyer just doesn't get the item and stiff me?  I've contacted them about the situation. Suggestions? I'm selling a collection of mine because my mom is going down hill from covid and we need ALL the funds we can muster.
