It seems you ask the same question every few months, but end up never actually providing any details.

Do you feel you have *bought* fraudulent gift cards?

Did a buyer ask you to send buy gift cards and send along with some purchased item?

No, I want to keep my account here on eBay that I've had for 25 years.  I don't want to be suspended for being dishonest.  Lots of downsides with gift cards and scams.  That's an item I would not sell on Ebay or anywhere.

Well, if you buy a Gift Card at a Walmart, for example, where the Walmart Gift Cards are just 'sitting there, NOT sealed' (like a Vanilla VISA)- scammers do the following:

Take all the cards home, record their numbers, scratch the 'pin' and note it; then RECOVER the pin with something very similar. 

As soon as the card is loaded with $$, thief is notified and then they can 'drain it' by using it buying things on Walmart.com or in Person or at the Gas Station right in the same parking lot!!

If you want a constructive conversation, you need to be more detailed in what you are asking.  This is the community forums made up of both buyers and seller.  Are you asking if buyer do not properly use Gift Cards?  Or are you asking about a specific type of gift card?
