Hi, I listed an item and recived an offer. I accepted the offer and the buyer asked me for my email address and phone which was a bit suspicious. i received an email like ebay and saw that it said the buyer had paid for the item but on the app it said the buyer hadn't paid. Im reaching out here because I canceled the order but I'm still charged with a  final value fee. what should I do?

Yes this was a scam and good on you for cancelling. All transactions must be completed directly on eBay, never via your or anyone's email address. You were still charged the FVF because the system considers this a transaction. You can reach out to eBay reps using social media, links below, and explain the circumstances of your cancelation. Hopefully they can reverse the fees, but not guaranteed. Best of luck to you....

Hello and thank you so much i canceled the order and ebay deducted the final value fee and listing fee. look out for Mtpleasantcorndawg he payed $100 for shipping when it was only $48 which made it even more suspicous.
