Re: feedback

I'd rather get no feedback than the "another".

Re: feedback

Yes, you may really NOT want the other!

Feedback is voluntary.  Don't worry.

Re: feedback

At your feedback number, getting more positives doesn't really do anything to help, but the potential for bad feedback is never far away.

I don't check mine often, but thanks to the lovely new seller hub there is a prominent spot that now displays when I receive a new feedback.  So thanks to that I see I just got a neutral from a buyer I filed an unpaid item case on.   I'd rather ebay not alert me to that and I'd much prefer no feedback.stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye

Re: feedback

I sell to make money. I do the right thing because that's the kind of person I am. I don't really care whether people leave me feedback or not. Seller feedback is supposed to be ABOUT you for the use of future buyers, it's not FOR you.

People are busy and these days buy a lot on other sites where feedback is irrelevent. They're not maintaining relationships with most of the sites they buy from so feedback is far down in the list of priorities.

Little does the buyer know.  I'm sure that you had already taken action to be sure that they would not be buying from you again:)

Oh yeah, plus I almost posted a reply but couldn't come up with one that didn't break my own advice against snarky follow-ups.

Re: feedback

You are right that a lot of people don't bother with feedback anymore.

I hope that someday ebay takes notice of that fact &

does away with feedback altogether.

I think most buyers find it is just a nuisance & I don't blame them at all.

I know that when I buy something I'd rather not bother with it,

but I do because I as long as it's a part of things here I feel obligated.

Re: feedback

Plus they get to follow up your follow up I believe. Then you can't say anything.

Re: feedback

You totally shouldn't get a neutral because of filing a case!

If it says that, I think you can call  CS and get it removed.

Re: feedback

That is right. Buyer leaves comment, seller can respond, then last response is buyer's.
