I just happen to notice a negative feedback I received from a person I sold a camera to. The feedback comment was positive but the feedback was shown as negative. I emailed him and he stated it was a error on his part and asked if there was any way to correct it. It's over 90 days old and there doesn't appear to be a fix. It's my first and only negative. I went from 100 to 97.1. I'm beginning sell a bit more and this score is extremely important to me. I would hope that Ebay could be flexible enough to be able to correct this problem. I've actually done nothing wrong and yet I'm be punished. Thank you. xbob

I wouldn't worry about it. Anyone who cares would click on it and see that it was left in error.

Follow the eBay link below and read and then click on "Request a feedback revision"

Have you called and spoken with a customer service agent? This type of feedback is removable. I’ve had many of these types of feedback removed. Negative feedback with a positive comment is against eBay policy. Unless you are outside of some time window where they can no longer change it for you, it should be removable.

Everyone suggesting feedback revision, the time limit is 30 days. OP is WAY past that.

This is the OP's only hope, since the deadline for buyer to revise it is long gone. IIRC there's also a time limit for removing a feedback based on violating policy (i.e., comment inconsistent with rating) but it doesn't hurt to try.

If you can't get customer service to remove it, then unfortunately you'll just have to live with it. The buyer can probably still leave a followup comment explaining that he made an error, to help further ease the pain.
Remember, your feedback percentage is based on all feedback received, both as a buyer and as a seller. So any new feedback you receive as a buyer will make that percentage look better.

Yes, the automated FB tool that mybigsale mentioned works amazingly well, but it has a time limit of 90 days. You're only option is to call or do Facebook. Too bad, as the Auto FB tool is a much better option. If it happens again OP, be sure to act within 90 days.

I think buyers can leave almost any type of feedback they want to
what is prohibited is a seller leaving a nasty positive as a warning or just to be mean
buyers can leave bad feedback ,sellers cant.
ebay cares about getting items shipped

Leaving conflicting feedback is not allowed regardless of who(buyer/seller) or what the chosen feedback is. It’s against the feedback policy.

You're missing the point of the policy, which is intent. There was no intent to harm the seller in this case, it was a mistake.
@1tuna is referring to intentional feedback so their post is correct as worded

If you can't get a revision on that red hickey your FB rating percentage will improve 365 days from the date it was received - unless you receive more.. That red hickey will remain in your eBay history book. Sell more or buyer more and your % should improve. The FB percentage does not have an effect your seller performance ratings - it used to..
