error in listing, I ment to list as auction instead of buy it now

I just listed an item, and meant to list it as an Auction, but listed it as Buy it Now. It sold immediately, before I realized what I had done. 

I am wondering if I can let the buyer know, and re-list as an Auction? I would of course message them, and refund their order. I understand that it's tricky, but it was a genuine mistake.

I do think the dress is worth what the OP priced it as for an opener, but I'd leave it at that if it were me. It's the kind of thing where it's good to list as an auction - Junya Watanabe, etc. - to find its own price with the damage, but having done the fixed price accidentally, it could be a  whole lot worse (like listing it at $29 or .99 or something - I'd be tempted to just take the hit and cancel, too, in that case but in this it's not bad). Well, up to the OP as they have the garment in hand and we don't.
