I checked my ebay account and realized that I have a premium store but have only about 900 listings for the past few years. Now I am checking and realize that I could just subscribe to the basic store subscription which is under 1000 fixed listings per month.
Now I'm wondering why I ever subscribed to the premium in the first place. Was there a change in the recent months/years? I imagine that in the past I only subscribed to premium thinking it had a limit of 1000 listings a month, not 10000 (which I don't need). Or was it just my mistake in signing for the premium when I should be under basic?

I think that at 900 listings, a Basic store would work. You'll only get $25/quarter in eBay supplies, but, hey...

The numbers changed drastically at least a couple years ago. One of the seller updates detailed the changes. I never come close to using all my freebies with the basic store, especially the extra 10,000 listings in certain categories.

I did change my store to Basic Store from Premium a few years back. I saved some money and the supplies program is no biggie

The amount of listings with a store did change a while ago. When you subscribed to a premium store a basic store probably had a max of 250 or 350 fixed price listings.
