What exactly did Ebay over charge you on? Coming on this forum and cursing isn't going to help your situation.  If you could return and give some more info there are people here who will try to help you.

Did you buy something?  Was the total higher? If yes, that was sales tax. You will not get the sales tax. There are at least 47 states now that charge a sales tax on internet sales.  The good ol' days of buying stuff online and not paying a sales tax are practically over.  Eventually the remaining states will join.  What you paid is the correct amount.

When you sell something the fees are not always straightforward.  They're not hidden but can be complicated.  Some categories have a higher fee percentage.  Also if you auction with a reserve there can be extra fees.
