ebay members unable to bid

I have received messsages from 2 ebay members stating they are unable to bid.  Both members state they receive errors that their account isn't linked to PayPal.  Anyone else having this problem?

Correct and Ebay is aware of it and says "working on it" for past week or so

I have a Paypal account linked to Ebay and have been buying for over 20 years on Ebay, For the past 6 days, the bid box does not accept my bid for every item I try to bid on amongst a dozen different sellers. Called Ebay. Ebay says they are aware of the problem and ar "working on it" This is bad for buyers who cannot bid, but horrible for sellers who are getting far less for their goods than they should and there is no sign that it is EVER going to be corrected. Prety discouraging if it is happening to folks new to Ebay
