ebay html broken for multi-listings using VARIATIONS

Hey eBay dufuses. Do you even code? My customers can not select the item to buy in my multi listings using variations. Before someone asks me what the heck I am talking about, simply click on my listings and try to select an item from down the list. The browser freaks out. Same results in Chrome and Edge. Maybe the eBay coders are using Netscape?  Hey, do you got mail? Do I need to fire up the AOL messenger to get ahold of someone in this dead company that can stop wrecking my darn listings so I can actually sell something?

I have been following this thread and have had variations trouble

Here are some addition URL's to help you zone in on it....

I have been trying to find a common thread...some work OK (even with 25 combinations)

others do not...I can't find anything common.......

From what @gatefold , @mcdougle4248 , @obiwon-kenobi and others have posted as examples, it appears that the problem begins after image 32. It does not matter whether the variations are active or out of stock, the image lineup shows the out of stock image. So if a variation has multiple photos per variation, the user won't get very far, while a listing with single variation photos will make it further.  That master record images, and out of stock images, as well as active variation images, are counted in the total of 32 images.

For those of you who have not yet reported your listings to customer support, please let them know that image 32 is the magic number.

When reporting to customer support (to add your account to the open tech ticket on ALERT ID 14837), please verify that image 32 is the magic number by walking through your photos. Be sure to give an affected item number as an example.

I just so happen to have a variation listing with 16 variations and 32 photos and it looks like you nailed it.  The last variation photos in this listing fail and revert to showing the 15th variation.

I'm also having this problem on a few variation listings, both mine and someone else's I tried.  Yeah, it's totally annoying and is actively preventing purchases from occurring.  I know this because a buyer messaged me asking about one but can't access it.

The magic number for my listings is 31 on my PC and 19 on my ipad.  

I just de-promoted all of my listings until eBay fixes this issue.  

Maybe if they know they are losing a fixed percentage on everyone with a multi-variation listing, they will take this problem seriously.

Yes, I am seeing much better functionality.  When I select a variation using the drop-down list there is a very brief flash of text and then the correct photo displays.  I no longer see the crazy rapid loading of photos.

I found the same problem few hours ago. Now, the buyers can select the item from the drop down menu properly. But I still cannot edit the quantity of the variations at the active listing page.
