I’m removing ALL items over 50.00USD
This predatory rate is part of the metrics designed to rip - off honest sellers. I’ve had enough .

It's as transparent as hell, anyone can see it is -GREED.- eBay is using the metrics in place to establish a way to steal from sellers . I'm working too hard to accept this from them -rip me off like this! The couriers forget to scan, I suffer setbacks All of my 3 defects are courier related!.
ebays lack of righteous indignation at my financial Loss is reprehensible, appalling.
I'm Fed nut with this .
Defects happen to your Seller Dashboard and are different than the Service Metrics. We really need to nail down where you ran into trouble before you can accurately come up with a game plan to fix the issue you currently have.

There are a lot of misunderstandings here. You do not get a Defect on the Seller Dashboard for a late shipment IF you uploaded the tracking within your stated handling time on the transaction and there is an acceptance scan by the carrier. You can see this statement on the Seller Dashboard so that sellers can be informed.
Same requirements on the line item of Tracking uploaded on time and validated.

You may want to read through this links about your seller performance.
Sellers are notified of their performance on the 20th of the month for the prior months sales activities and are encouraged to "fix" what they have been doing unsatisfactorily (aka below average rating) within a given time period or bad things can/will happen.
Recall in my college days if my GPA fell below a 2.0 (= to a H.S. C, C+ or C-) two semesters in a row you were told to pack your bags and shown the exit door. Received a 1.9 ( = to a Dingo) one semester - busted my hump to get back on track pronto. Graduated with an overall 2.54 GPA and a **bleep** degree after 4.5 years.
In real life received performance reviews/evaluations at least once every year for 41 years. Some times a 90 day review. Poor reviews generally meant pink slip time.

The Greed of the platform is out of hand . I'm suffering on this site eBay offers NO protection for my start up, rather eBay has consistently undermined my achievements . Raising fees for circumstances I have no control over > I'm over it. and am going to be off the platform . Ive complied a long list of Cons .- no Pros exist.
I would Never return . Not as a Buyer or Seller.
No offense, but the attitude reflected in the words bolded in blue above are those of someone who is not ready to do business on a site like eBay.
None of us is special, deserving of recognition or pity. Least of all by a company like eBay.
As is often the case in these forums, seller frustration peaks when the seller (a) fundamentally misunderstands what eBay is all about, and (b) refuses to take responsibility for same.
Its all spelled out in the eBay user agreement, which I suspect you are unfamiliar with.
You've compiled three negative feedbacks in 12 months. And you've responded to those negatives in a nasty, inappropriate manner.
eBay will not tell you this, but I am convinced that those comments are scanned by eBay and made part of your official seller record. Same with the content of any messages you exchange on eBay with buyers.
Will you be punished in some form by eBay for such comments? I believe you will, no question. But even if you choose to NOT believe you will, you should comport yourself as though you will, because the capability to punish most certainly exists.
Sellers are responsible for contracting out to a shipper and ensuring that the item is delivered in one piece.
"Courier issues" can be addressed by properly packaging an item and if it is sufficiently fragile, insuring it (although that is by no means a guarantee of a satisfactory outcome).
Many here have shipped for two decades or more with no problems. For an item like a Hot Wheel car sealed in plastic, I'd have used a small box filled with paper packing and charged the seller the appropriate shipping fee for same.

I disagree. I think it is a predatory practice designed to discourage and eliminate sellers they do not want on their venue anymore.

I agree. And it's a policy I fully support as long as it's reasonably and evenly applied to all sellers (which guess what, it is!).
