This is a rare video game that is no longer made. I had it as $100 which is the going price on ebay, there are lots of other sellers selling it for $130+
eBay price gouging policy states: "Items that are considered essential must be offered at a reasonable price"
how is a video game an essential item? Am I no longer allowed to sell rare video games and risk my account being banned for price gouging? My price was fair, and it was the same price as before the virus.
eBay is getting a little ridiculous

Well that's a **bleep** shame. They don't recognize it as being a very rare game, so take it down. It's also recommended that we list fun stuff for all those stuck at home. Puzzles, DVD's,board games & yes-video games.
Maybe if you contact them by way of Facebook & explain that it's not the 3,000th copy of any Mario game so they can reverse this decision. Good luck.

"This policy is set in place to ensure eBay is a fair market place and when reviewed, we determined this item was in violation. "
Yes they are price fixing non essential items. Where is all of this price fixing around christmas time when the new hot toy is sold out everywhere and prices double or triple? Why is ebay wasting their time on non essential items. No one is forced to buy a rare video game during a crisis, and if it's too expensive buy a different game. This is just ridiculous

Could there be a competitor reporting it? Sounds like someone might be playing dirty, using a crisis to block the competition...

What is the name of the video game? We need to see before jumping the gun on answering your topic.

Looks like something you would see when an outsourced CSR goes "off script" to apply a policy that does not apply, while in the meantime IT can not code to block the listing of items that are presently banned.

It makes no difference. It is not eBay's job to set the price on a video game.

It makes a HUGE difference. Ebay scammers is not something Ebay needs right now. Without knowledge we cannot deny or confirm Ebay did the right thing.
