I just did a search for one of my items using the keywords "antique brass soap dish", and I got over 600 results of about 500 brand new items. So I select "Antiques" and narrow it down to 119 items where I'm showing as the 2nd item. Then I decided to check something out. So I clicked "Free shipping" which I do not offer by the way.
I get back 1 result yet their is 4 listings, 1 of the listings is not even FS, but it is sponsored. I go back and change my selection to "Free Returns", get 1 result and the same 4 items come up again, but only 1 has free returns, and the others are now showing as sponsored.
So I click FS again to see if the sponsored title will disappear like before, and now I get 20 results and all are FS, BTW, and the other one that came up in the 1st run that didn't have FS was not included this time. This search engine is completely dysfunctional.

Search yields results based on titles, item specifics, and variation names if items are in a multi-variation listing. It no longer looks at keywords that sellers include include in the main body description.

What difference does it make when it's supposed to be 'all words, any order' search?
Everyone gets the 'any word, no specific order, doesn't need to be all words, doesn't even need to have one of the words in the title' search.
I only use ending soonest on auctions, and newly listed on BIN. I do see everything.
The BM search that Casino uses on here is in the toilet. Literally and figuratively.

Abe wasn't asking for help finding a part, he was just saying that he put in "chain guard" and a bunch of items that don't have "chain guard" in it came up instead. Why is that? For something you say is working fine, that's a bit odd, don't you think?

He put in "chain guard dirt bike", so he got items related to dirt bike. Not so odd after all.

This is how much of a piece of junk Cassini is:
Hugh Williams spent about 4 years designing it, and eBay spent mega millions on it's development. Hugh Williams bailed ship right before eBay was scheduled to launch Cassini. The day eBay launched Cassini, it failed to do so, so they spent the next year launching it in pieces.
Cassini has been operating now for about a little more than 4 years. DW is now in the process of replacing Cassini with a new search engine that uses Voice search, structured data, and artificial intelligence (AI). Also get ready for a whole new level of search manipulation by eBay.

Type what the OP needed and you will find 25 results for sale. The search is not a mind reader and works fine if you tell it what you need. Please don't post incorrect info as new people may believe you and it is not true.
KTM 250 SX Chain Guard

I didn't search Chain Guard. Abe did.

All words... exact words... whatever... at a minimum, you'd think it would only give results that include the first word, at least...
