There's nothing like eBay putting other people's items on the bottom of my listing!!!! This can be seen as nothing other than a conflict of interest! If they are cheaper than my item they will buy the other! eBay charges a fee to do this!!! Basically I'm losing money for eBay to get additional money in addition to their already outrageous fees. I pay my money keep other people's listings away from my items!!!! My listing should not show other people's items on the bottom of the listing!!!!!

Speaking for myself only. I would be extremely happy if Promoted Listings of other sellers only appeared at the bottom of my listings. I would love that and it is something I've been trying to get Ebay to do for a very long time.
They did recently cut the THREE rows of Promoted listings that appear ABOVE our ISBs [item specific boxes] down to TWO rows. That was a big help. But I find ANY Promoted listing above my description as annoying.

EBay’s placement of competitor’s listings in close proximity to our own is anathema to many sellers .
As a long term seller yourself, it is surprising, though, to hear your report. This practice has been years in the making.

in the past my listings were cheaper than a lot of the other listings that showed up under my list. I still didn't sell any items. Sept. has been the worst month so far - only three sales.
I had a crazy thought. Do any of my items show up when someone else is looking? Is there some gremlin out there mad at me?😋

Recently on a few of my items the two rows were cut down to one. Unfortunately that missing one row was replaced with an item spec comparison row which was more than twice as wide. It looks like the specs were taken from item specifics so best described as inaccurate.
Thankfully that seems to have disappeared and back to the "normal" two rows. Another test failure I guess.

Hmm - if you were buying, would you want for eBay to hide better/cheaper listings, or just show your item?

Isn't that what eBay does all the time? When I get "streamlined" search results, the listings with the lowest prices are usually hidden.

Not to be a smart-alec but does Walmart have prices for Target listed and vice versa. After all don't customers want the cheapest price. Should all stores show the competitors prices?
