I've posted a few times on the eBay Facebook page
I'm surprised at how fast they respond. . .
For those seeking advise or help Facebook might get you better results then posting here.

When will eBay executives actually listen to sellers ?
That is a question we have been waiting for them to answer for over a decade now, Donahoe's spirit is still with this leadership group as Devin calls it, eBay likes to manipulate sellers and the marketplace versus responding to the real issues and to the voice of sellers who actually want to see this place improve.
Until this message reaches all the way to the top, eBay is going nowhere fast.

A kerfuffle over Facebook! In 2017! lol
No you misunderstand.
I'm no Luddite. I'm on my own company's FB page, IG, and Twitter. It's Marketing 101 these days.
IMHO, social media is inappropriate place to get answers for tricky selling questions or direction and feedback on increasing revenue and expanding my business.

page I am referring to is when signed in on facebook you type ebay in the search
You want the one on top ebay @ebay san jose
They monitor that board closely and they will DELETE unwanted messages if posted in a hostle way, but then again they will answer questions in a timely manner.
It's another way of contacting eBay directly so don't put it down!
And yes, you do have to like their page to get access to posting on their page and getting responses.
eBay's trying hard to better themselves. . .

Don't kid yourself.
The TOP brass at ebay look at the facebook page weekly in meetings
It's not so busy that they couldn't read each and every post.
If you ever wanted to get a message to the guys at the top now is the time. . .

Hi Z!
yeah I've lurked over there a few times- sorry to say I'm not too impressed but if it works for you- then I'm glad it's available for you

Don't kid yourself Z, all they have to do is read this forum if they really care to know what sellers think of eBay....

eBay itself has a member to member answer board. This board, here on eBays site, is for "Rock Stars". You and I are not allowed to post on this board. It's no secret, It's for rock stars. Last Christmas eBay sent these members Coffee Mugs for Outstanding work on these boards. On FB, Yes eBay has a board, But that is Their board, and have control. FB members have their Own board, A Q&A for the big 3 that I mentioned. eBay loves to control, but when sellers livelihood is at stake, sometimes you have to look beyond eBay. Good Luck.

@labs118 wrote:Z your going to get alot of push back because most community board posters believe they/ebay should be here on their own platform and answer as much if not more here.
Many don't/won't use facebook. It's just not for everyone.
And one of those would be me.

@z50com wrote:eBay chat worked and worked well, it was fast and easy.
You had the whole conversation right at your fingertips.
That's something store owners should be asking for, the return of chat.
Did anyone notice that store owners will still be able to list a customer service number?
No, I did not notice that! Glad you mentioned it. Now I have to go back and bulk edit all my listings to put the phone number back in.

Tell 'em you want your 20% Top Seller FVF discount back!
(I'm sure they'll listen to a loyal longtime Ebayer such as yourself.)

I never even thought about eBay on Facebook. I know they have Twitter accounts, but I've never checked Facebook. Somehow, FB is my least favorite social media outlet.
One time we had a business phone issue ... posted on AT&T's Twitter page and got immediate assistance. Their social media managers got their executive office involved who contacted the local guys to get things moving. That was cool.
