The stores listing frame is officially gone. eBay made the switch they said they would and replaced the listing frame above the IS and category side bar with a frame placed under the description showing category bubbles. I noticed the change yesterday but it may have gone live earlier than that.
What do you guys think? Like? Dislike? Indifferent?
From the web view, I don't like the extra white space below the description, but I do like that the frame is placed below the description with no sponsored ads between.
I'm reserving judgement on the rest until I see how the other changes play out. eBay said they'll be rolling out a few visual changes to the listing page layout so expect to see more adjustments over the coming months, even for those without stores.

I think it looks odd there......looks like 2 headers, plus I use ebay categories and this second header uses store categories.......which I never kept up to date........so guess I'm going to have to delete them........
No way on the store landing page to use list view...........
I'm not at all pleased with the process.........I see one thing one day and another version the next (hyperbole, but applicable)........
I've just about given up.........they will do whatever they do with no explanation/discussion/or thought........

I asked Velvet here if she could have the Stores guy come prepared to answer the questions we all had about stores and search at the chat they're hosting next week. Maybe we'll get some kind of info about what they're planning in that regard.

Seems fine to me - it's similar to other websites where I shop with the drop down instead of the side bar.
Not sure what "Description" means in this context - do you mean the store banner and bit of verbiage under that?

There's only one listing description.
Between the time I started this thread and today, eBay has cut down the blank white space under the description by at least 2/3 so that's no longer an issue I'd call out.
