eBay is slowing down payments even more so now it will take an additional 24 hours!! This is a joke, this company hates it's customers. Has anyone noticed the 48 hour processing time for all transactions going into your account (Not promoted fees because they take those instantly)? So now, instead have your payouts be initiated 48 hours after payment it will be 72!! This company has no morals. Now it will take 96 hours until you see your funds, unless its over a weekend then it'll be longer

Ebay has stated in writing that they do not make interest off of held seller funds.
'If we place a hold on your funds, it will usually be resolved within 30 days, but in rare circumstances it may take longer. For most orders, adding tracking information can help you receive your funds faster. eBay does not earn interest on held funds.'

You may get paid every day you have funds available however, payments are not clearing and being made available daily. There is no legitimate reason it should take up three days to “process” payments. All payments are electronically processed. It’s an instant process. This delay is the typical “hold funds for banking purposes” move of using the money for other purposes by the banking institution. Of course eBay had to choose a payment processor tied to an old school bank instead of paying to get with the times by using an American based company that can handle transactions quickly.

The bank that’s handling the processing of the payments is the one making the interest money. All payment processors are tied to a bank.

Oh my sweet summer child, what makes you think the American banking "system" is at all up to date compared to anywhere in Europe, Asia, or Canada?
We were accepting debit cards by 1998 in our Ottawa Canada shop. Our banks got the idea from Japan which had invented the system in the early 80s.
