Did you mean:

eBay is changing my settings ... again ...

I was Relisting from the Seller Hub Unsold ended listing folder and noticed eBay automatically deleted them after being listed ... previously I had it set so I would delete them and have a chance to review the abbreviated list one final time before deleting them.

Gee, I wonder what other settings they have or will decide to change without my consent?

This may also explain the occasional Duplicate listings that occur through no fault of my own ... meaning, eBay Relists a Relisted item without my consent ...

Did you check your Relisted section?  Mine go from Not Relisted to Relisted (but I use the Status filter)

Did you have it set to All and it got changed to Relisted?

Re: eBay is changing my settings ... again ...

@lintbrush*  I will have to check where all the settings are, I did what I normally do, I opened the Unsold ended folder, checked the boxes for 8 items which then came up in Bulk Editor, I reselected 30 days for the listing cycle and Relisted them ... I then went back to the Unsold ended folder and they were gone ... usually they are still there and then I delete them ... yes its an extra step but I have caught a few mistakes doing it that way.

I did nothing different ... nothing and yet they were deleted when Relisted

On my list:

Relist eliminates the listing from the unsold list

Sell similar does NOT remove them...

The filter is right at the top there.  I only want to see the Not Relisted when I'm there to relist.   It's the default as far as I know.  And if it's yours as well, then you wouldn't see the relisted.

Re: eBay is changing my settings ... again ...

That is default behavior I believe - to show only not yet relisted ones.

Check your view filter settings on the page as lintbrush suggested.

Now I find that very interesting because I never use Sell Similar and up until today my items would stay in the folder after relisting ... there is actually a setting that they will automatically delete when Relisted but mine was set NOT to do that ... until eBay changed it on me.

Re: eBay is changing my settings ... again ...

@lintbrush*  Thanks for that post ... mine is set for just seeing the "Unsold" but it was acting like the setting you mentioned and deleting the ones that were Relisted ... I'll check it again tomorrow when I Relist a few items ... Thursday is supposedly the day eBay updates their servers so maybe my account just got caught in some updating loop ...

Re: eBay is changing my settings ... again ...

That is very strange Mr. Lincoln. You haven`t changed anything? Mine looks like Lintbrushes. It`s set to "all".....when I "sell similar" it still shows as unsold but when I "relist", the item disappears and I must use the drop down.

Re: eBay is changing my settings ... again ...

@mr_lincoln

We're on two different screens.   From the main Listings tab, mine screenshot was for Unsold - what I use when relisting.  You are on Ended.

Ended has several more things in the dropdown - and I don't like several of them especially "Unsold".   "Unsold" in that dropdown will include both listed and unlisted.  "Not Relisted" in Ended section actually shows my sold items - which explains why they aren't relisted, but that isn't really clear unless you see the Sold in the columns.

"Not Relisted" in Unsold section only shows my unsold items that aren't relisted.

Two filters with the same name show two very different things - all because of the sub-section it's in - Listings > Unsold vs Listings > Ended

Yes, I understand that the section impacts the way those two same named choices display, but the old school My eBay user is accustomed to Not Yet Relisted being used for unsold, ended listings.

I do not like that area of SellerHub you are using!  lol

I could see how easy it would be do relist an already relisted item from there.

Re: eBay is changing my settings ... again ...

@hillbillymedia  Yes, that is exactly right, regardless of what my settings were since I set Seller Hub up way back AND I changed nothing but yesterday a batch of items I Relisted were auto-deleted off my list which is NOT how my settings were.

Yesterday I shared a screen shot showing what the setting was and today it is different (both screen shots below) BUT it still just deleted items I Relisted.

Re: eBay is changing my settings ... again ...

I wish I could help you but Lintbrush is right..... I always "sell similar" and "relist" from the "unsold" tab and you are doing it from the "ended listings" tab in which I`m not familiar.

Re: eBay is changing my settings ... again ...

@lintbrush*  This is the strangest thing ... and whether we're on the same screen or not mine are being changed ... I just posted the one from yesterday that I shared with you and one from today on a reply to @hillbillymedia ... I did not change it, nobody else uses my computer, etc.  AND when I Relisted items again today they we auto-deleted again ...

I think I will try the Reset to the default settings and start over to see if that corrects it ...
