eBay idea backfiring? Item Specifics are sending my items to other sites

Do I want to waste 20 minutes entering data I've already covered on eBay in my listing or do I want to list somewhere faster and easier?   Guess who is losing?

Too many questions, and way too much duplication.  Where is it from?  Where was it made?   Same stupid place.   How big is it?  What's the diameter?  How tall?  How wide?  It's a plate and all the answers are the same.

This was not well thought out.   I wish someone at eBay actually cared what sellers thought.

You can ignore anything you want that's not in the "required" section of IS.

Exactly. Unless it's specifically marked as "Required," you don't need to enter it. I generally fill in a few things that are relevant (brand, material, occasion, etc.) and then just leave the rest blank.
