Can you explain where this charge appears?
Did it get charged to your bank account?
Did it get charged to your credit card?
Does this appear in your eBay transaction history?

It's possible that the charge you’re seeing is unrelated to eBay directly, even though it appears linked to your eBay account. Here are a few possibilities and steps to consider:
Double-Check the Transaction Details
Review your bank or credit card statement carefully. Look for any additional information associated with the charge, such as a transaction ID or merchant description. If it doesn't explicitly list eBay, it could be a charge from another source.
Verify Your eBay Account Activity
Log in to your eBay account and review your account activity under the "Payments" or "Invoices" section. Check if there’s any record of the $34 charge. If there’s no matching charge, it’s less likely eBay initiated it.
ACH Account Verify Explanation
The term "ACH" refers to Automated Clearing House transactions, typically linked to bank account payments. This could indicate an authorization or verification charge for a linked bank account. Sometimes, third-party payment processors may initiate such charges for account verification, which might appear unrelated to eBay.
Contact Your Bank
Reach out to your bank or card issuer for clarification on the charge. They can confirm the merchant responsible and whether it was a legitimate transaction or potentially fraudulent. If it’s unauthorized, they can guide you on how to dispute the charge.
Consider Other Payment Services
If you’ve recently set up or updated a payment method with services like PayPal (commonly used on eBay), the charge could be related to them rather than eBay itself. Check your activity on any associated payment platforms.
Monitor for Fraud
If you’re certain it wasn’t an authorized transaction, take steps to secure your accounts. Change your eBay and PayPal passwords, enable two-factor authentication, and monitor your accounts for any unusual activity.
This situation might be a simple misunderstanding, but it’s always better to verify and take precautions. If the charge persists as unexplained, your bank can often provide the fastest resolution.

I suggest you try contacting Ebay again and asking. I would suggest contacting them via Facebook.
On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.
I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.
