eBay doesn’t act quickly enough

I bought a dvd from a seller here on 11/18. He said delivery was from 11/27 - 11/30. He said it shipped on 11/19. Tracking showed it stayed in NJ as of 11/26 so I contacted the seller. He says shipping is 10-14 business days. Well if he had said that when I bought it I would have purchased from Amazon. So I checked his listings. The same dvd I bought from him which said “last one” was listed in his items still and said last one. I no longer have confidence in this seller or this purchase. I contacted eBay for a refund today since it’s beyond the delivery window. They write back saying by Dec 7 I will know something. That’s not acceptable as I feel eBay has no urgency to help me. I should have paid closer attention to the sellers bad feedback.

Commentary from others has been that they (and the other humungous book sellers) sell millions a year, so maybe it doesn't matter at that level?

 

My apologies to OP - I didn't mean to hijack the thread in any way, was just trying to help you out/explain if that was the seller you are encountering the issue with.

 

I have no doubt eBay will make you whole if it doesn't show up; but, my bet is that it will, just later than the estimate you saw.

Years ago I ordered a CD from the OP's last feedback. (I'm assuming the OP is referring to that one since that's the only recent one). I didn't realize they were located in the UK and it took weeks for my order to arrive. If you look at their website they mention shipping to UK and shipping to US. The UK is their main location, and now they have a second one in Australia. 

Now I will admit that I may be wrong and perhaps the OP was referring to some other seller who did not post any feedback, buy it sure appears to be them.  And their feedback has others complaining about this same gripe.
