eBay charged insertion fee 350 USD. while I do have 10k free listing

Last month, eBay charged me a USD 350 insertion fee. I informed the team about this problem, but they told me that since your account is from India, you should contact eBay India. I contacted the Indian eBay team, but no one was available to assist me in resolving this critical problem.

What should I do immediately?

There are certain categories in which those 10k free listings can be used.  Were your listings in one of the appropriate categories.

- Sports Mem, Cards & Fan Shop > Sports Trading Cards
- Toys & Hobbies > Collectible Card Games
- Collectibles
- Music
- Books & Magazines
- Movies & TV
- Video Games & Consoles > Video Games
- Stamps
- Crafts
- Home & Garden > Greeting Cards & Party Supply > Party Supplies

That's true if the OP has a Basic store, but the Premium store gets 10K listings in any category. So it depends on which type of subscription he has.

Re: eBay charged insertion fee 350 USD. while I do have 10k free listing

We greatly appreciate your response informing us that the 10k free listing is not for any category.

But now, @mam98031 , I have a question: If possible can I use all 10k free listing in  "collectibles" category.

I'm trying to ask that even though collectibles has many subcategories, every one of them falls under the 10k free listing policy ?

Does entire "Collectibles" category fall under 10K free listing ?

Yes, the free insertions are for any item in each of the listed categories, such as Collectibles.

"What should I do immediately?"

Check and see if any listings have bold titles or gallery plus fees.

You are welcome.  If you have a Basic store, the categories eligible are as stated in my other posting would hold true.

Keep in mind that is for the basic listing fee, not any additional options for selling an item like, bold titles, buy it now button on an auction, reserve pricing, larger pics, etc.  It is just for the basic listing fee.
