I tried posting this to the Technical Issues board, but it looks like it is not monitoring at all, even when you summon the blues. Of course, they may be just ignoring me, but I digress...
When originally listing yarn lots, they had IPR, which I normally always use. In the event buyers wanted to buy multiple lots, I thought it would be easier to remove the IPR, so two days ago, IPR was removed from them. Yesterday (Friday) I began randomly checking, and the IPR was back on every single one.
Yesterday, I once again removed the IPR from them. This morning, it's back AGAIN! I only changed 2 of them this morning and have not yet checked the rest, but am sure of what will be found.
What is going on? No sales in 6 days, and I need this added aggravation, especially this time of year? Come on, eBay, quit playing games.
You all better check your listings that you did NOT put IPR on. You may be surprised at what you find.

Good synopsis of the issues they created with their little game.
I'm going to sleep on it overnight, but I am considering cancelling the yarn lots and moving them to the other place. I'll even be able to list it cheaper there and still make more money if sold. The real beauty is that even if I leave the ones listed here, there are plenty of full bins of yarn waiting to be listed...and it won't be here.
The next step will be elimination of the store.
See, it's not all bad. 🙂

Well, as of this morning, of the two I ended and relisted anew yesterday without the IPR selected--they added it back to 1 listing.

This is constantly moving target here. Now I have items that were fine without a UPC or MPN or Brand when I listed suddenly refusing to relist unless I put that in.
I'd ask what next, but I'm afraid to. 😞

I know they want the UPC on freaking everything so buyers can "comparison shop" (aka race to the bottom), but honestly, I don't see Target putting up prices on the shelf from WM and Shopko et al do you?
For example -I know I can get it cheaper at WM but I happen to be standing in Target and don't feel like driving to WM, ok? But a LOT of buyers don't know they can get it cheaper at WM (and why should Target tell them that?) so they buy at Target. And vice versa.
I do not "get" eBay's incessant NEED to be the cheapest prices for everything and then bemoan their 'flea market' image ( or tat bazaar as one UK blog insists on calling it).

You're absolutely right.
I still want to know how they are able to do a television ad stating, "Shop eBay. Guaranteed lowest prices." Yeah, nearly fell out of my chair when I heard that one! Seems to me there is only one way they can come close to doing that is by hiding the higher priced items. Do you know of another way? That kind of advertising certainly supports the race to the bottom.

“I know exactly why they are doing it. It's because you CAN'T COMBINE SHIPPING on large multiple buys, and there must be lots of these on cheap items site wide.”
this theory holds no water since shipping can still be combined. Sellers can set up discounts that are automatic or the buyer can add to the cart and request total which then gives a commit to buy
