Another great moment for the programmers at eBay.
1. Buyer pays for item on July 14th.
2. Listing States 10 BUSINESS DAYS handling time to ship. (Ensures Mangled Payments are rec'd.)
3. eBay posts Expected Date of Delivery of July 29th to the buyer.
4. Item being shipped for Pennsylvania to West Coast via UPS Ground.
5. eBay's program department is the National Repository for idiots!

I thought in the USA one had certain freedoms. Like you have your opinion and they have theirs. You can operate your business as you see fit and they can operate theirs as they see fit. I guess many in the USA do not want to be in a Democratic Republic with a Constitution.

"Listing States 10 BUSINESS DAYS handling time to ship. (Ensures Mangled Payments are rec'd.)"
Payment is recieved instantly by eBay. I try to ship within a day or 2. Have not read of a single instance where managed payments did not follow through with the deposit into the rightful account.

You are lucky to still be selling on ebay. I looked at your Bachmann Charger listing and saw the invite to take the sale off ebay. Plus, all your feedback left is an invite to take sales off ebay.
Your replies to buyer feedback are unprofessional in the extreme.
And then, for icing on the cake, you have a 10 day handling time, totally unwarranted by managed payments.
Go ahead and block me if you want but it is totally unnecessary.
Repository for idiots indeed!

Huh?
Anyway, I am surprised that OP does as well as you does in sales with a 10 handling time and a few truly unprofessional responses in feedback. Over two years now and I have never had an issue with MP. And it certainly does not take 10 days for funds to be sent to my account. As for Ebay's estimated delivery times, both buyers and sellers know to ignore that.

When Ebay says it's time to ship, you are supposed to ship! That means your money is ALREADY SECURED and only waiting 2-3 business days for processing into your checking account (an industry standard). There is no need to wait until your money is in your personal account before shipping.
Buyers don't give a rat's behind when your money is in your personal account. They want their item shipped ASAP. By delaying your shipping for 10 days, you're running the risk of buyers seeing the 10-day delay and ignoring you and buying from someone else with a reasonably fast shipping turnaround time, even if their price is higher. You have no idea how many sales you have lost because of a 10-day shipping delay.
You also run the risk of negative feedback from buyers for such an unnecessary and unreasonable delay. Believe me, buyers know when they're being jerked around by a seller.
The vast majority of MP sellers ship their item almost immediately when they are informed by Ebay that it is time to ship. I ship either the same day as payment, or the next business day, and I have yet to lose even one penny by immediately shipping when Ebay says it's time to ship. I also get great feedback with thanks from my buyers and repeat buyers, who get their purchases pronto.
Surely you can improve your customer satisfaction, and your business model can adjust to a 2-3 business day delay, just as you adjusted to your employer paying you only weekly, every two weeks, monthly or even longer.
Get that shipping time down to just a day or two. Your buyers will like it, and your sales will most likely improve.
Cheers, Duffy

You are just wasting the buyers time. When Ebay says the payment is received and its time to ship then ship. You can use the pending funds to buy the shipping label. The rest will be in your bank account soon enough.

Speaking of which - your feedback replies to others makes you sound like a petulant child. Perhaps Ebay is not for you.

Looks like all their listings are like that.

Do you actually wait the 10 business days to ship?
eBay has for quite some tome used our "historical shipping time data" to give the buyer an estimate.
If you ship sooner than the 10 days that is why the see that.
I have 3 day handling with M/W/F as working days to cover myself for power/internet outages, or health issues to avoid late shipping dings, but generally ship same day/next day.
My order details often tell me to ship by day XX, and also show that the buyer was shown expected delivery the day after that.

Wow.... Just.... wow. Almost every listing is begging to be removed for avoiding fees. What do you call it when you use a service but don't intend to pay for it?
Anyways, nothing on the site interests me as a buyer, but those comments made to negative feedback would drive me away even if I were. Too much drama for me.

So you think because the USA is a democracy that the OP can illegally violate the rules that a private business requires you to agree to when signing up to a contract? You can't encourage sales off ebay, that's the rules you agreed to, and a democracy has absolutely nothing to do with that.
No a democracy or "Freedom" doesn't give you the right to breach an agreement with a private institution without an repercussions.

Mangled Payments 😀

Here is a valid reason for shipping delay.
Have you ever had to crate and ship a item freight?
I used to deal with that quite often.
There is no given shipping time, you don't pack and crate in advance.
There is a HUGE amount of industrial items here.
Specialized items need to be exempt.

Where industrial items? Certainly not in the OP's listings.

You know... as I was reading the OPs listings, at first I was surprised at how blatant they were. Then after a while, they started to become a story. Everything that has ever wronged him is in the listings... Like an eBay book of grudges... There was the time GSP made him mad... Then there was the time the Post office made him mad... then it was taxes. It has actually become a fun read.
