When can we expect a fix? I don't have to google to find it, just makes it impossible to be Competitive if you don't have real time true results? Hiding most of listings on the site just to show promo items, makes it hard to price your items as a buyer and a seller, I now rely on other sites to price my items on eBay, just fix it! and don't confuse and distract buyers with your silly ads.

You will have a very, very long wait if you are waiting for ebay to end first party ads, such as Promoted Listings Standard.

As far as I know the search is working as intended. You may not like it, but still as intended.

Why? Anything is searchable if you have the item number.

Did you really think that I asked for an item number so I could search for it by item number?

You didn't say.
But once you have an item number you COULD claim to be able to find said listing in a normal search. Not saying you would, but you could.

I guess I could.
I would have nothing to gain.
I just want to show people that the item(s) they think are not searchable are in fact searchable.
Is that such a bad thing?

The thing is though, we all KNOW what results you get in a search differ from person to person, so what one person searching can find, another is never shown.

Not sure, but my thought is that, sometimes I want to price my items based upon what things have sold for, but I find the results in that area to be lacking. Likely because of the way code is written. I know for a fact that not all show up.
A listing # would be of little value to be in such a situation as I already have the info I need on "that" listing.

Just saying you want a fix can't help someone fix something........ If my roof leaks, I need to show the roofer WHERE it leaks..........

Ebay search has never had what you call real time true results. It takes hours for a new listing to show up. I see you have over a thousand listings, is that about right? I've never bought into the notion that ebay hides listings. How would that benefit them financially?

Here is one,
Google STEELERS MATCHBOOK
Etsy comes first and the second one is eBay
Click on the eBay link where they state they have the largest collection, but they only display 4 results.
Search eBay using the same and you have 141 results. Why didn't eBay show the 141 results? I did not search schedules with my keywords, but even if I did, eBay has 18 not 4.

Searchable, yes. The contention is that the item(s) are buried, page 1000 of 1001
