eBay is deducting money from my savings instead of my checking, and I was not able to fix this problem on my own through the website, so after searching for a seller's customer service number, I found one as the top search result on Google. I called it, they had me download anydesk app, which is a legitimate app. After reading the notifications, I said I am not comfortable and stopped the process, but now I am having to lock all my accounts to prevent my money from being stolen. If eBay provided real customer service I would not have had to search for a way to speak to a representative on the internet. Also, the website I got the number at was first to appear on the search. Shame on you eBay for not providing service to your clients. You are quick to make money off of sellers, but not to help them when they need help. I'm done with eBay!
Now I'm getting random texts with "funny" video links.

You are not a new seller, although not a fully experienced one either, but even so you have been with eBay long enough to know HOW to contact eBay. Seems to me, you may have inadvertently provided banking info to someone other than eBay. As eBay requires a checking account and there'd be no way for eBay to access any other account unless you provided that info. Blaming eBay for your lack of knowledge in the workings of the site is not going to help the matter.

never google ebay's customer service number, it is always a scam.
you have to go through your account on this site to get a call from them instead, that is the only way to ensure the you are not being scammed, never go off of the site to try and contact them. Help & Contact at the top of the page}Scroll to the bottom & select contact us} Account}Signing up for an eBay account. this will take you to a few options on the left side panel. have us call you, or chat with us.. if it is this serious, id have them call you and not mess around with chat, bc they're just going to copy/paste you their phone number anyway bc they cannot tamper w any personal information inside of your account over chat. once ebay calls you, save the number to your phone!
ebay will never force you to DL any external app's or go off of their website to help you, this was a scam. the app anydesk or "helpdesk" rather as it used to be, might have been verified in the app store, but it is commonly used for evil and rated as such by those same people to get that score. ebay will also never ask any of your personal information over chat or phone, other than your email address to help verify your account. dont ever trust google. with any information, ever. that falls into the same category as never google your symptoms, that you are either always already dead or dieing of some horrible disease, when the only person capable of that type of evaluation is the doctor themselves.
change your passwords, block the emails and texts & never respond to them.
i hope i helped, good luck<3

yooou should be able to remove your banking information easily on ebay. if it wasnt there to remove, then who did you give your saving info to other than the ebay website? anyone over the phone? to these said scammers? my goodness..ANYONE can buy real-estate on google and look legit or verified. i agree with all of the posters above, never ever ever google a customer service number. you have to go through the website, no matter where you are on the internet, that rule is a staple for all websites. please be more careful in the future. this isnt ebays fault this time, and you really need to contact your bank ASAP..

Sounds like it could be the OP's overdraft protection. I have overdraft protection my checking account that would debit my savings account if I ever found myself in a position to need it.

You know that makes sense and I bet that's what is happening. @shastamagic_4
Do you have overdraft protection set up on your checking account?
Your CU or bank will withdrawal funds from your savings upon request like Ebay to avoid you having a NSF fee of $30 ( avg).
Call your financial institution and talk to a CS representative, they'll go thru your transactions with you.
And no more Google search for ebay!!!
