I cannot stress this enough. If eBay kept the same Item number and URL for each RELISTED item, it would sell faster! Pinning on Pinterest and clicking on it in Pinterests doesnt' bring up the item if the item was relisted.
People get frustratied on Pinterest when they can't find the Pin they clicked on eBay!!!
Come on eBay! Use Pinterest as your tool to sell more items. PLEASE!
A simple solution is to create a website for free (example www.myXYZ1234ABCD.com) and put a link to your eBay listing there.
Then promote www.myXYZ1234ABCD.com normally but each time you renew your eBay listing simply change (edit) the eBay URL link listed on your website, it will only take a few seconds.
That way your www.myXYZ1234ABCD.com website will always contain the right eBay url for your listing.
It's on every single listing on ebay. Once you list an item, you can click the little facebook and pinterest icons and post your items all over the internet. We've had a store with 8,000+ items for years and we use it all the time.
