eBay is an absolute joke for sellers. I sell on 3 other platforms, zero issues, ZERO negative reviews. In fact 5 stars across the board. Not eBay, if you are the unlucky apparently to sell allot on their platform, one negative review drops your points down b ONE! Don’t worry about appealing a review or score, they simply don’t care. I have yet to see such unethical business, as eBay provides its sellers. We know, a buyer can claim an item was blue even though (red) and if they even request the slightest it will be in their favor no matters

I even tried to Google customer service for eBay with zero success besides recordings, and ended up getting an “agent” whose number was top on eBay customer service searches. Needless to say how that went, I was completely grained. eBay responded with a…….we don’t care. Sellers beware, I am on the brink of cancelling my account I’ve had since 2001, with the fraud and dishonesties eBay has done to sellers

Please understand I was completely frauded by someone who pretending to be an eBay agent, also knew EVERY detail about my eBay account

Ebay doesn't have a phone number you can call, you have to have them call you back.

Any number you find doing a search is fake and not Ebay.

You have just not tried hard enough or screamed loud enough.
When I call, they have me on caller ID, know my name, and usually say "OMG....what is it now?" 🤣

Try reaching out to the ebay teams on Facebook and Twitter. They are actually employees of ebay and can help you.

As you already know, it is a waste of time talking to eBay on the phone or via chat with the contracted overseas reps.

90% of issues can be resolved here on the forums if a member has some patience. The 1st answer you get might or might not be the best.

Serious problems can be dealt with thru the eBay social media channels via USA based eBay employees.

Like others have stated, do not attempt to call into any direct telephone numbers. They are fake!

1300 listings is a lot of work. Hang in there.

I agree.

Fortunately, ebay is no longer the monopoly it once was and we have options. I have severely cut back my listings after years of abuse by ebay.

Well I doubt very much "eBay hates its sellers" albeit many of it's sellers hate eBay but since monies all green they endure selective emotional distress.

I do agree that the Feedback Mechanism is old school and works against the site. There should be a forward facing retail'ish statistical front instead IMHO for both sellers and potential buyers.

eBay has worked for me for 23 years with no issues. I have six selling accounts and I have not had to contact customer support for at least 10 years.

Ebay treats it’s sellers like cattle. They believe that we need them so much that they can go ahead and make changes that are not in a seller’s best interest but in Ebay’s best interest. They do it with a smile and pat you on the back with one hand and stab you at the same time. Oh it will be so wonderful that you can’t leave negative feedback for your buyers.....Oh isn’t it nice that we will refund your buyers when they are clearly stealing from you. We at Ebat love your money......errr.....we love you....we care about you and your money. I am soooooo happy that I don’t sell on ebay anymore!

Negative Reviews can happen on any platform that allows reviews. That's the internet and the public as well as many more are tough guy keyboard warriors- but even in a Brick/Mortar store, I had my share of 'these type' of people: face to face.

Regarding being 'scammed' by a phone number found on the internet, they can only tell you about your account if you give them information.

Scammers are smarter than the average bear and can, and will, fool many every day.
