Call ebay and verify.
Do not click on email links.
It is a sure fire way to get your account hacked.

Thanks everyone, I thought it was a scam too. I am blonde not stupid-will not fall for this behavior.
Heads up for anyone else that gets one of these.

Did you play the clean up, cash in game? play.ebay.com
If so then why don't you go to eBay without clicking a link in the message and try using the redemption code for a purchase.
Also, ignoring the e-mail - did this also appear in your eBay messages? If so it's likely legit.

Agreed, even though the domain in question is registered to some outfit called "FireDrum Internet Marketing," which tells us that not all the good spammer domain names are taken yet.

I did play and I did try to redeem without clicking link and it will not go through. I also did not receive through my eBay account which made me real suspicious. I refuse to click the link in email to redeem a $25.00 credit. That $25.00 could cost me a zillion dollars, not worth it.

No! The .com2 is a bad sign that the site is being spoofed. DONT DO IT. At a minimum they will put viruses and cwap on your computer. Worse they can rope you into giving them info about your account or your bank/credit card that aint their business. Let it go - $25 (maybe) for $1 million worth of trouble.

@wesellitalldicker-dealhere You should forward it to spoof@ebay.com so they can look into it.

Yes I will forward to eBay. What a dirty trick-some people did play the game and think they won a prize and all they are going to get is a headache.

Just so you know I got a mug and a t-shirt from Ebay after the holidays. It just came in the mail in a box. No e-mail notice or anything. I doubled my sales for the year so they felt I deserved a prize. Thanks!

I got a message "from Ebay" myself this morning that one of my payments didnt go through. I just went to paypal and checked and everything is fine. Of course none of the links I was supposed to click in the e-mail actually went to either Ebay or Paypal but some weird ru.net address. Never get to account info from e-mails about account problems. It isnt that hard to type in ebay.com or paypal.com yourself.

And here's another clue - did you actually PLAY the clean up cash in game? If youd didnt PLAY how are you supposed to have WON?

I know but it is really hard to click on a link that says to redeem when it is going to a address I do not recognize. Should not be this hard to redeem if I won. At least eBay should let me know the link is safe.
