deleted email set as main

I had 2 emails attached to my ebay and paypal accounts. Email 1 and Email 2. I deleted Email 2 from both paypal and ebay months ago. I replaced Email 2 with Email 3. Months go by and I have some items to sell. I post them all as usual. After I sold an item, I noticed the payment was put on hold. I looked closer and noticed email 2 (the deleted email) was on all of my listings! I was able to revise the rest of my posts to the correct email but I can't figure out how to fix or revise the currently SOLD item my customer is waiting for. Any help?

Probably a Paypal issue, have you tried calling them?

The emails on paypal are email 1 and email 3. Ebay, somehow, had email 2 stuck in their system. I'll probably just cancel the sell and repost with correct info if i cant get a resolution.

The email had to have been included in the item listing when it was listed; possibly it defaulted to whichever email was last used.

You can see the email address associated with each listing by using the "sell similar" link -- but back out before creating a new listing.

Check your other listings to see if any have the old address still; I believe you can use bulk edit to change any that need to be changed.

That is how I found out it was set to the old, deleted, email. I did change all of my active listings to the current email and hope it doesnt default to the deleted email again. Any way to change the email address of the Sold item?

If you are unable to add that email to your PayPal account, you would have to contact PayPal to see what your options are.
