eBay layout is hiding our item descriptions. Why?

The item description is where we describe all of the intricacies of our product that we can't fit in the title, including anything unique, rare, wrong, or damaged. It is easy enough to view in its entirety in the desktop layout, but the app and mobile versions seem to want this information hidden. The app cherry-picks a few random sentences and throws them together, making it look like I don't know what I'm doing. The mobile site seems to put even less importance on the details of the item. This type of poor emphasis causes us to have to answer questions that are already answered in the description, and it can cause distrust in eBay buyers. When they buy a damaged item or an empty box, because they didn't read the item description, sellers suffer the negative feedback and returns/refunds. Is eBay looking into improving this at all?

Or I could learn from 2016 how to make it look like I know what I'm doing?

OP, there were some good threads a couple years ago about how to use html to tell the ebay bots what to use in the mobile app. Try searching this and other boards.
