I had a pair of childrens sneakers listed for sale. Customer purchased and sent payment. Yesterday as I was packaging the sneakers I noticed that the front of the sneakers had a blue dye absorbed into the white leather. I sent 2 messages to the buyer, so far I have not gotten any response. Should I ship them damaged? Or Wait for an answer?

I would not send them damaged, I would cancel and refund citing ''damaged'' or ''out of stock'', you will get a defect but one won't hurt. Better than a negative coupled with an INAD case.

This is one of those things that can go either way. How much time you have before you have to ship this? Anyway that you can clean this out? You are going to get mixed responses.

I tend to agree with @downunder-61 you listed as excellent condition , having a blue dye stain would not be excellent IMHO. Cancel the sale stating item damaged.

Wait for an answer. If it gets down to the wire, shipping-wise, make an emergency call to them. Its only should be done/regarded as a last resort.
