confirm your account nonsense

Hi guys....

I'm having an issue I don't understand. Any time I try to list a new item, lower a price or fix a mistake ebay requires me to "confirm my account".   I check the confirm by email box and it promptly asks me to answer a security question which I answer correctly but it won't accept it and keeps telling me it's wrong then says I have to wait 24 hours to do whatever I am trying to do. Calling ebay is useless, they cannot tell me what the problem is.  I don't understand why I have to keep confirming my account. Can someone at ebay please fix this, it's annoying as heck

Actually, I think you can adjust that in your own personal account settings. It allows you to select what level of security you want when using your account.

Perhaps the security answer had a capital letter you are not putting in? Or is all lowercase and you added a capital? I'm asking because I've done this myself.

I was having a similar issue (not security questions, but had to enter a code to confirm my account).

After numerous useless phone calls to ebay, I came to the boards, one of the ebay reps here helped,
