With the loss of CLASSIC VIEW I have begun listing less items and trying other venues for sales.
Too much to go through to get to a page that i'm NOT really comfortable with in order to check my listings or sales
NO LONGER FUN

Well, you've made a choice. Each seller impacted by this change eventually needs to
choose how to respond to it. Just an aside, it isn't actually necessary to announce your choice.

where can one find a list of the best alternatives to Ebay? I know we can't list them on these forums but don't know where else to ask -
wonder if there are any go-to online venue comparison lists out there?

e bay is the best there is no better place
the other sites are not auctions, they are only buy now
only e bay has the option of auctions
you have to adapt to the seller hub

I’ve been selling here 23 years and during that time for ages I sold on at least 7 of the main biggest, most famous other Internet selling sites.
And a while ago whittled it down to just eBay, the best!
Now I honestly don’t know what to do.
eBay for many reasons is no good for me anymore!

Yes, it is too bad EBAY does not give a flying F $#@$@ about there sellers. Never have and never will !

Sorry but i DO NOT HAVE TO ADAPT.. There are other venues and i have already started reducing the number of listings

the problem for many sellers is when you cannot use pay pal for sellers
I always used pay pal and I never had a problem

I would call that adapting. You can adapt to the new tool and use it, or you can adapt by going elsewhere. Either one is a response to the new tool, and as I said, it's your choice.
I've posted this before: sellers have more options than ever, and exploring those options is a good idea. For one seller, one will be a good fit , but it might not be a good fit for another seller...find the site (or sites) that are a good fit for your business. If ebay is one of them, fine, if not, that's fine too. it's your business, figure out what works for you.

I guess you are right .. Fortunately i do this as a hobby and not worried about the financial part
just disturbing sometimes when ebay doesnt use common sense when dealing with issues such as this
and many other situations. ALWAYS seems the side of the buyer is considered and VERY rarely the seller
oh well stay safe thanks for calming me down
You could work for ebay LOL

I have found that it is only using the new seller hub main page or "overview" page that is frustrating and futile. Now I just use specific links to the various lists, like selling and sold, and although not nearly as convenient as the classic page, it does not have me tearing out my hair. I do occasionally use the overview page, but mostly to check how many free listings I have remaining in the month.

This is me also. Started as a hobby 17 years ago it was fun and nice extra cash. Now it's not fun Ebay never cares about the **bleep** decisions they make that affect us. In the last 2 weeks with all the Classic Page issues I have been listing very little. I am down about 50 listings and don't feel motivated to list at all. Other venues sounds like an option but who knows. I guess Ebay will make less fees if Sellers list less. Why can't they just respect us more? That hasn't been my experience in 17 years of selling. Oh well like you I will list less, make less and work to my own pace since Ebay doesn't care about life being easier with our Classic Page.

That is where I am at right now weekly I am down more and more. Yes I make less but Ebay is mad money for me anyway I bet our Fees aren't Mad Money for Ebay. So yes my listings way down I hope other sellers reduce also. Bring back our Classic Page or give us a choice. Everyone saying adapt adapt I can list pages of how I have adapted with Ebay over 17 years, none of them good adaptions for ME all in Ebay's favor. It's time for them to listen to one simple request. Why adapt when we had something that worked fabulous the Classic Page.

Yes, you're right
imagine a new seller with all that he will not understand anything
