People are more interested in what you have to sell. Your user name really doesn't have anything to do with a sale. Did someone tell you it did? Concentrate on what you're selling, the cost +S&H, shipping timely, being communicative and good over all customer service. That's what's important as a seller.

Hi,
Changing the username is not a first priority.
I think as a new seller you should refer more rules & regulations on eBay selling activities.
There are lot of things to learn about eBay selling.
First you can join to the eBay seller school & study as many selling courses you can.
All the best.

Seller school no longer exists...it was replaced with the academy

I don't know, try changing your name to CHARGEBACK, REFUND, FREE, SNAD, etc and see how things go. It could be paradoxical as many things are in life.

No, it does not. The feedback will transfer over. If your name has bad feedback and you just started, then you are probably better off starting a new account AFTER you learn Ebay policies, learn to write accurate descriptions, take plenty of clear photos with a decent camera using decent lighting. YOu should also make sure that you do NOT do any the things that caused you to get a negative(s). The name change will NOT hide your past deals.
I suggest that you read the hundreds of posts here that will help you become a great seller and make good money. Goodluck.
