Lately, many of my buyers are not leaving feedback for me. I work very hard making sure I mail packages immediately. I go out of my way to save the buyer shipping charges & often when they have paid too much shipping, I will refund or include the cash in their package. I wrap packages very well. How can I get my buyer leave feedback? Even when I contact them to see if they were happy with their purchase & they respond saying yes, they still do not leave feedback? Is this a new trend on eBay? Does anyone else have this problem? Can you please help me know what to do? Thank you.

I receive about 35% feedback.
However I don't regard it as a problem...maybe that's because I understand that feedback is VOLUNTARY.
I'm only on eBay to buy & sell stuff & express my opinions on here...fwtaw.

Many of us here believe:
* Feedback is obsolete. It's no longer needed.
* Never ask a buyer for feedback, if they didn' want to leave it, your request may anger them.
* Don't ask if they are happy. That can suggest you're overly-sensitive and may provoke some buyers to create a fake "problem" to see if you will give them money back.
What to do? Nothing.
Only:
Send a great product, in a timely manner, which is in as-described condition...
and never contact them again.

You have plenty of FB (362). I wouldn't worry about it.
Some buyers just don't bother. I think only about 20% of my buyers leave feedback. All I care about is if they pay me, don't leave a neg, and don't file a case.
Leaving something like buyer has not left feedback for the seller but paid promptly, so good buyer is begging for a neutral or negative.
A common wisdom around here is "don't poke the sleeping bear."

I think feed back is important to new sellers , I struggled with feed back my first full year . In my case I think it matters if your over 100 positive or more . My other selling I.D. is 2 right now with 2 sales and I'm not sure I would buy from some one with a 2 score . I get right at 50 % FB left on this I.D. always have .

I too wish that my buyers would leave feedback. On Etsy every sale is noted, why can't ebay do the same?

The one thing that causes more buyers to leave feedback is when more sellers leave feedback.
As a seller, I do all I can to help other sellers to get more feedback.

The one thing that causes more buyers to leave feedback is when more sellers leave feedback.
As a seller, I do all I can to help other sellers to get more feedback.
With all due respect, Phan, I beg to differ.
Countless threads have stated that even though the seller leaves positive feedback when buyer pays, buyer does not reciprocate and post feedback for them.
Seller feedback posted by buyers has significantly gone down, as evidenced by the OP and other posters on this thread. There wouldn't be numerous threads on this very subject from sellers who are frustrated with non responsive, no feedback posting buyers.
So the statement, the one thing that cause more buyers to leave feedback is when sellers leave feedback, is erroneous. Reality often shows it doesn't matter if the seller leaves feedback first, buyer often chooses not to bother. Percentages of 35% or 50% don't encourage the interpretation that the buyer will post if the seller posts first. While they certainly might, overall across the board does not prove that to be the case.
Just some observations.

This happens to many sellers. Out of 48 recent sells I only have 2 feedbacks. I just to get upset and annoyed but it doesn't bother me anymore. I often remind myself no feedback is better than feedback, because it could be a negative or neutral.

it should read "I used to get upset".

Exactly!
Buyer may actually be doing you a favor when they DON"T post feedback.
No one wants HERE'S THE FEEDBACK YOU BUGGED ME FOR!
Or feedback detailing why it was a less than satisfactory transaction for them. They had planned to just let it go as they didn't want to neg someone, but since you asked...
It's voluntary. Neither side is owed it. Seller has the money, buyer has the widget.

You misunderstood what I said. I'm sorry that I did not state it clear enough.
I did not say that buyers would leave more feedback for a given seller if the seller left more feedback.
ALL sellers will get more feedback when more sellers leave feedback. That is a not an opinion - it is a proven fact.
I leave feedback for my customers to help OTHER sellers get more feedback.
