I'm sure this is just another "bug", but am sharing this hoping nobody else misses it and gets charged. From Seller Hub unsolds, I went to relist some unsolds today. Made my edits in the bulk relist form, and right before accepting I noticed I was being charged insertion fees for each listing. I have plenty of paid-store-subscription "free" listing left, yet this occurred every time I tried. I attempted with 3 different browsers, 2 different computers, over the course of 3 hours, and it consistently wanted to charge me the fees whether I did a sell-similar or a relist.
Finally went into good old "my unsold items" and was able to do them individually, with no fees charged and deducting from my monthly allotment as it should be.
Beware using bulk relist or bulk sell similar until this is resolved..... ymmv

According to eBay staff (and cooroborated by one seller who tested it), you will not be charged, despite the fee showing on the tool. Why not jsut do a small test for yourself?

Yes the same thing is happening to me today. Going through unsold, just like you are, and looks like it's going to charge 20¢ per listing.
UGH! Guess I'll take the other person's advice & do a test of 3 items to see what happens [fingers crossed]
Thanks for the heads-up! 🙂

And here's the result--
Looked like it would charge a fee until submitted, and said fees charged were $0.00.
So guess it's OK. But boy is that annoying to not know for sure until AFTER you send them. 😕

I've seen this same bug off and on for at least a year, and figured it was one of eBay's myriad glitches that will probably never be fixed.
Is/was there a particular situation where I saw it always happen? No.
It just seemed to pop up at random when I was doing a bulk relist. Now, when I *know* I have free listings left on my account, I just ignore those phantom charges that disappear when I do the Submit.

I have seen these "phantom" charges before as well, on the bulk relist form itself, but they always went away when you submitted and got to the final "accept" pop-up. This was the first time I had seen it stick through to that part. Regardless, I still have learned not to be trusting....

This started happenign to me yesterday as well. And I went thru teh same procees that you did. No mention of it on Ebay announcements and no answers yet on line.
My work around was to save them in drafts and then relist one at a time via my app - which is faster than via browser - still one a t a time but a tiny bit easier

Thank you for posting! I have 609 free listings left and noticed the Bulk Uploader was trying to charge 20 cents each. Glad to see there's a way around it.

A Billion $ company shouldn't have these type of ongoing glitches. ...
That's true, but they always do.
Here are posts from from sellers who tested it:

Here's my response from other threads:
"Try selecting 3 items. Hit Relist, hit Submit All (it will show .30 in fees), hit "Confirm and Submit" and you will see a message that you will be charged $0.00 for the listings.
It's definately a bug, another instance of their lack of code review, unit testing and UAT processes.
However, at the end it shows NO CHARGE!. So relist with confidence!! Right? Well not really, umm Trust but Verify! or not... but you can bulk relist, just make sure the final confirmation shows $0."
Many users have found exactly the same thing. It's a bug in the presentation, not in the actual charging. You won't be charged and the final confirmation before hitting 'Confirm and Submit' will show $0.

No, you didn't. Have you read any of the other responses in this thread?
