buyer leaves multiple positive feedbacks counts as one multiple negatives are left all count WHY?

Once again eBay continues to backstab sellers. I counted my feedbacks close to 2000 this year with many multiple positives eBay does not count feedbacks that are positive from the same buyer. If each is a singular transaction they do not count if left over a 30 day period instead the seller gets only 1 positive!!  It seems they count as one feedback but there is no explanation as to WHY? However the neutral feedbacks all count if left by the same buyer.  As do the negatives but as I rarely get those I had to check others feedback to prove this. Where did eBay learn to count and why do they refuse to give credit to all sales that are positive.?

Positive feedbacks for purchases occurring within the same week counting as only one exists to prevent feedback padding: unscrupulous sellers could otherwise make up a bunch of penning listings, have the same buyer account purchase them and leave them feedback making them appear as an experienced trustworthy seller.

Same applies to neutral and negative feedback to prevent feedback bombing.

It could be worse: feedback left by a buyer making purchases from the same seller ever only counted as one. 148 purchases over 5 years? 1 feedback point.

I did the math and it seems this is deliberate so sellers get a lower % if negatives are left How unfair is this? 
‘so one gets 2000 feedbacks but only half count if positive because many are repeat buyers. One buyer can ruin a sellers reputation if he buys several items then leaves Negatives. I only noticed this as a friend who sells got basically pushed out of eBay from a competitor who gave him 8 Negative feedbacks he did nothing wrong but he has a five day shipping because he works full time and usually ships on Saturday. A competitor bought 8 items. Left 8 negative feedbacks saying shipping was slow. It is clearly deliberate and as he is a par time seller he has about 50 positives However he has many repeat customers. I scrolled down over 100 feedbacks that were positive over the past year. But only 51 were counted and the 8 negatives gave him a feedback % in the 80’s I was stunned. So I checked my own feedbacks this year over 2000 but credited for 1001 eBay does not count all Positives and I see this a a brutal unfairness to sellers.

The math is mathing. You received 1002 positive feedback from individual buyers and 1 negative feedback (neutrals don’t affect feedback scores): 1002/1=99.9%

Here is how eBay says feedback calculations work: 

"The positive Feedback percentage is calculated based on the total number of positive and negative Feedback ratings for transactions that ended in the last 12 months, excluding repeat Feedback from the same member for purchases done within the same calendar week (eBay time)."

eBay only excludes repeat feedback if it is given in the same calendar week. Feedback from a repeat buyer who purchased a week or more earlier (or a week or more later) is still included. 

Note this does not distinguish between negative and positive, which suggests that repeat negatives are also excluded if they happen in the same calendar week.

Completely false neutral and negative feedback counts for each and every feedback which is my point.

if you had 100 positives and only 10 buyers over the course of a month and one buyer that left 10 negatives your feedback score would be 50% not 90%  Neutrals do not count but are also shown if a buyer makes purchases even combined purchases as individual feedback.

Repeat negatives count individually regardless of  how many one person leaves repeat positives from one person count as one  per buyer per month and negative to positive ratio is based on numbers in your feedback score  not the number of feedbacks. so eBay does backstab sellers  you could theoretically  have 

a negative score with positive feedbacks. I have seen this happen several times. 20 positive feedbacks from 3 users 5 negatives from one user will produce a negative feedback score. The feedback system has always been stacked against sellers.

I'm sorry, but you have misunderstood. Feedbacks from a single buyer left within the same calendar week are counted as one. This is true for positive, neutral and negative feedbacks. You have had lots of buyers give you multiple positive feedbacks for auctions that ended on the same day, but only one negative feedback, which is counted as one.

You got 3 neutral feedbacks for purchases that were all made on the same day, Oct 9, 2023 according to Marketplace Research. But they don't count at all because neutrals are not included in the feedback percentage calculation.

To prove that negative feedbacks are treated the same way as positives, here is an example where a seller received 2 negatives from a single buyer in one week (which only counted as one). So their feedback calculation only included 2 negatives, instead of 3.

In this case, all of the seller's 54 positives were from different buyers/different weeks.
