Sold a product and the buyer did not pay. This is not the biggest problem. Myself along with other Ebay sellers have put multiple negative comments on the buyers information and Ebay is not showing these comments as negative. They show them as positive. Therefore he looks like a good buyer and he is NOT. Ebay will do nothing to help this problem. buyer should be banned on Ebay for not paying on multiple items for multiple sellers. I even opened a dispute with Ebay and have had no response......they just say relist.

You will NEVER get a response because all those 'negative' remarks are NOT allowed. Sellers leaving them can get reprimanded. Buyers cannot get 'negative' or 'neutral' feedback.
There is a system in place for non payers and sellers can checkmark a box in their 'preferences' that to NOT allow a buyer to bid/buy with more than 2 of these during the past 12 months. But, only if the seller checkmarks that.
This has been for over a decade. Ebay is a store, and sellers selling here are NOT allowed to poo on their customers (which is what leaving a Negative is).

Why would you violate the feedback policy?
Buyers can only receive positive feedback.
If you would cancel the orders for nonpayment, most smart sellers would have them blocked.

Sellers cannot leave negative feedback for a buyer so if you left "positive" feedback for a buyer in disguise then you violated eBay policy

This must be a joke, right? Buyers haven't been able to receive negs for what, 10 years now?

You've made at least 2 mistakes. You left a negative comment and you're naming and shaming a buyer in the forums.
Neither is allowed. Even worse, you've done all this publicly. eBay may ding you.

OK, you don't know so: go to Site Map (found at the bottom of almost any page) then scroll down to Seller things/tools (you'll see it) and see Block Buyers List. There is where you can list the buyers who you don't want back into your ebay life. Spelling counts! They might be able to message you, but not bid or buy from you. That's how to erase bad buyers from your store. It's a very useful tool ebay gives us and it feels goooood! (Smiles!) And then mentally let go. It happens to ALL of us. Keep-a-goin'!

set your "buyer requirements" to block bidders with strikes.

perhaps they scoped out a better deal with another seller.

You do realize tho, that eBay protects non-payers, right? They are shielded from account removal based on the total amount of $$$ that they DO pay, for the items they purchased and made payment.
I know of sellers that skipped out on thousands of dollars in payments from BIN items - in a matter of a few mere months, and STILL eBay will not remove their accounts. This has gone on for many years.
I can't figure to put an exact ratio on it, but basically the more you spend at eBay, the more you will be forgiven for NOT spending when you obligated yourself to do so. It's all about corruption and the bottom line. Same with a seller that has 14,000 negative feedback count BUT is still considered 99.00% perfect for the amount of transactions that WERE completed and with no need for dispute or resolution. to eBay, those 14000 buyers mean nothing. 'Screw them, there is nothing to see here", is eBay the attitude.
It's how it goes, believe it.

What were you hoping to accomplish by leaving negative comments?
I’m guessing you think you’re reaching future sellers?
How did those previous “negatives” help you?
You see, those comments that are piling up on this guy mean nothing. Sellers don’t look at a buyers feedback received.

So you didn't know that the appropriate action would have been, after 4 days, to cancel using the reason as non-paying bidder?
And you also didn't know that any seller who attempts to leave a negative for a buyer is breaking the rules?

If a buyer gets 2 strikes in 12 months, they can't buy from me, and I am 'Buy It Now, Immediate Payment Required' for all my listings and have been for 10+ years. How do I know? Because I can run a report that tells me how many 'buyers' I have 'blocked' due to my preferences.
So, I don't believe that is the case; at all.

Nonsense.
