Need to find the highest bidder for my recent ad for 1986 Corvette, his bid never showed up on my account but I need to get in touch with him. If anyone has information please contact me

Go into your bid history.
The top one was the highest bidder.
But do know your reserve was not met.

You can go into the Second Chance Offer part and see him, but then never finalize that (not send it) It will show some top bidders you can send offers to but you dont have to send the offer until the last step

There was no sale because the reserve was not met. Trying to contact your highest bidder is against Ebay policy and you will get a warning doing so. It will be an attempt to sell the vehicle without using Ebay and they want their $$. I believe what you can do is offer a second chance offer to the highest bidder and see what happens.

This Corvette? https://www.ebay.com/itm/1986-Chevrolet-Corvette-/263431368306?hash=item3d55bbae72%3Ag%3A1loAAOSwp7t... You can click on "Advanced" at the upper right of the page next to the search button, then at left side its either "Find a member" or "Find contact information".

would I have to relist the ad to offer a second chance to the highest bidder?

Not positive since you had a reserve, but I believe you would have to be willing to accept the high bid the high bidder made. You would just send the second chance offer and no relist required.

The Second Chance Offer is not considered a new listing. It is an action that is part of the same listing.

No, your second chance offer could be as high as your reserve.

Yes, that is correct, for vehicle auctions.

How do I do a second chance offer

Go to your list of orders (that is, items sold). There is a drop-down menu at the left-hand side that starts with "Leave Feedback." If a Second Chance offer is possible, that option will be there.
Be aware that some buyers have set their preferences to block Second Chance Offers because they never want to consider them. In that case, you won't be able to send them one.

Why did you use a reserve?

wanted a certain amount, everyone was below what I wanted, I place the ad again with a set price not an auction.
