Auto-decline and auto-accept are two different settings. If you hadnt checked the listing for two weeks then any offers would have timed out if you didnt have an auto-accept number plugged in.
If you had checked more frequently you could have manually accepted any offer if you chose to. If you dont respond after 48 hours then the offer will expire.

Are you possibly seeing offers that you sent for $550 in the Offer History?

Afterthought... if it's your Playmobil set, now the whole world knows your price. You may want to pull this post. Good luck.

If you are selling, you need to be checking your item way more often then going 2 weeks without looking. You now know there were offers of $500 put on the table, why not just change your auction to Buy it Now at $500 if you are willing to accept that amount. You will still need to check your page everyday to see if it has sold and be able to ship in the time frame you have listed.

Yes, if you do not accept the offer it automatically declines. You'll have to pay more attention next time.

Pretty much - yes. I use my phone for buying but I have a selling account and I wouldnt dream of trying to sell using a phone. Desktop gives you the whole picture of your selling and whats going on.
I use my phone for buying when I am away from the computer. That works fine. But for selling work - when I am home anyway - its desktop only. I check my messages and my auctions regularly using my phone but I do not assume that I am seeing everything that way. At least I can see if there is something that I will need to ship when I get home.
