authenticity guarantee

I shipped a brand new pair of shoes to the authenticator, and while the shoes left my home with only minor damage to the box (which was photographed and shared with the purchaser), the authenticator later denied the shoes due to the condition of the box. However, the damage to the box occurred on their end, as they left it in a wet area, which ruined it. This is clearly not my responsibility, and I have photos to prove it.

Ebay’s new process has added unnecessary time and costs to the transaction, and now my buyer has missed out on their Christmas gift, while I’ve lost the sale due to the recipient’s poor handling of the package. The package was left in the rain through no fault of

Re: authenticity guarantee

Unfortunately a company that can't provide competent customer service reps can't be trusted to provide competent authentication reps. Be thankful they only ruined the box & not the shoes too

Re: authenticity guarantee

It is totally conceivable that the  carrier  used damaged the box in there handling processes - me thinks  ya might need to take up the issue with them

Re: authenticity guarantee

During the winter months, I use plastic bags for shipping as I am uncertain if the outer package will be exposed to the weather. I place a plastic bag over the collectible box inside another cardboard box., to keep moisture off/out.

There is no telling where a package could be left sitting, exposed to weather during shipping.
