add item to existing mark down sale

I am sorry, ebay has the worst customer service...I have hit need more help 5 times and it is just a loop.!!!!! that's my first question...how do you go directly to chat?   The always say ebay is here 24/7.  well i can't stop the loop.

second. i presently have a mark down sale in my store on select items.  i would like to add a few more after I have already launched.  Can I add more items?

You cannot "add items" to existing sale.    Just create a new sale with those additional items.

Well, that is incorrect.  I went to marketing, then to mark down sale, and on top right it said add items....

So with that reply...I am still trying to find out how do you get real help from customer service?????it is inconsistent how to get to chat and/or call.

Yes you can add items to an existing sale as I have done it many times over the past couple of years.  However, that option seems to be glitching in their system at the moment.  The only work around is to create another markdown sale.
