HI All, can you guys help me how to get it resolved? My account is being restricted and my fund in the account is hold. I have sent so many emails and chatbot messages to ask for root cause and solution. Howevever, I got ignored and was always provided a standard answer. I am seeking a help from you guys. They said the below reasons caused my account restricted permanently. What should I do? any suggestion? The red highlighted sentences is what I have replied to the ebay agent.
A bad buyer experience (“BBE”) will occur but is not limited to the following scenarios:
(a) Buyer filed for a dispute under “item not received”; Buyer doesn't filed a dispute and received Item
(b) Buyer filed for a dispute under “Item Not as Described”; Buyer doesn't filed a dispute
(c) Buyer returned the item and gave a return reason that indicates “Item Not as Described”; Buyer doesn't return the item even though there is 30 days guaranteed refund in my refund policy.
(d) Seller canceled the transaction because you no longer had the item, or the item was never shipped, and the buyer's money was returned; I never cancel any transaction with the payment received order.
(e) Buyer left a Detailed Seller Rating score of 1, 2, or 3 for “Item as Described”; or
(f) Buyer left Neutral or Negative feedback for you. Yes, Buyer left a negative feedback once without any details. Does only one cause to freeze and restrict my account?

What is wrong with your other account that you can't use it?
If this account is permanently suspended, that's what it means and there's nothing you can do.

The answer is usually found in your seller dashboard. Click on it from your overview page and see if that helps.

These are US CS agents who are employed by eBay and may better serve you and your situation. Make sure if they ask for any additional info, paper work whatever, that you have that on hand to submit to the agents. Many positive posts on this forum with their ability to be helpful.

first of all, I am always honest doing my business. It is why I specify a 30 days refund gurantee in my listing. Yes, i have one more account, but it was registed in the US by year 2000. However, I didn't use it for more than 15 years because I couldn't use it without a valid bank account. Ebay agent asked me to register a new account based on my current region.
It is why I am so angry being restricted without a concrete root cause. If I did something wrong and against ebay policy, I admitted without any complaint. But my account died without a concrete reason. I also have some fund in my account. How can they do it like that? very disappointed about their support.

I see you are registered in Hong Kong, this is the US site and you may have to contact eBay's Trust and Safety Department from Hong Kong. That is the department that deals with restrictions and suspensions.
You mentioned a new region, are you still in Hong Kong or are you in another country now?
Have you logged on to your eBay account on someone else's computer or used someone else's Wi-Fi to connect to the internet?

Are you sure those Zippo lighters are authentic? that's one reason they may suspend an account when customers complain.

I guess one bad buyer experience starting out can freeze or restrict your account. Is the restriction time specific or an indefinite or permanent ban?
When the buyer claimed it wasn't as described (feedback ) eBay wants you to apologize and offer a refund instead of demanding they give you details. Your feedback reply shows you don't take responsibility when a buyer is unhappy. A reply of I offer 30 day returns, please return, or something along the lines that it was worked out, buyer was refunded.
If you have another account that account will also be suspended, and any household members that have an account will be suspended If this is a permanent restriction for selling.
It is a kiss of death to have an unhappy buyer when you first start selling. It kills your feedback rating. eBay explained reasons and f is one. I don't know your DSRs buyers left but I imagine the buyer that left the neg left a 1.

I was told it is permanently restricted. I privately sent him two messages to ask for reason and further support needs. Since there is a refund in my policy, I am glad to offer it without any arguing.
Ebay agent asked me to register a new one since I can no longer use my old US account which has no restriction at all because no activity performed.

actually, the support from HK is really bad. In the beginning, I sent a lot of email. They replied me a standard answer and said there is nothing to follow up and then no more response. No matter how many emails you sent to them.
No, I am using gmail account to login. Well, yes, I sometimes checked my account in starbucks. It was another question I asked ebay. They didn't say anyting about this. If yes, why it becomes permanently restricted and no solution to resume my acccount?
I started my selling in ebay since 2000 with my old account and accumlated 701 positive feedback without any negative and problem. It is a true bad experience with ebay.
You know when you became a super seller with 1000 products sold in a day. All of sudden, they banned you and hold your fund without reason and no appeal. How dictatorship they are?

I doubt eBay will ever give you a concrete root cause for why your account was suspended.
I suspect that when eBay suspends accounts they use a scoring system similar to the Best Match algorithm, which considers dozens if not hundreds of factors and 'scores' your account on each of them. If your total score exceeds a threshold, it gets suspended.

I say that because you don't describe your items, you just say "New", and looking at the pictures of the "Limited Edition" lighters, there is nothing written on the box that would usually on a Zippo lighter.

Well, then you must be a very young person, indeed, because counterfeit Zippos have been a problem for many, many years.
