Hello i recieved this email and in my message box on ebay today. ive been selling on ebay for a while now and with covid going on i am getting worried about not getting a timely reply from ebay. i have also have paid all my inovices etc. any help is great thanks here is a copy of the email

Not sure what you are asking..........They tell you what to do and say it may take 3 business days...... I don't think there is any way to hurry that along.......

Unfortunately there has been a surge of new sellers on eBay and reports of accounts being hacked. But wait and see what others have to say as I haven't experienced anything like this.

really? Passport? I'd tell them to pound sand.
I'd also be calling to check it's a legit ebay message

I got this message (you commented on my post), I submitted the documents at least 6 times and I called them once, took probably 3-4 months before they unlocked my account.

They're looking for any gummint-issued ID; it doesn't have to be a passport. (I would thought a driver's license would make more sense to ask for, but that's just me.) The link in the message does in fact go to eBay Canada.
