So I sold my limited edition soccer cleats/shoes for over 100$, in eBay's fee table it says I shouldn't be charged the 10% because it is above 100$ and is under the men's athletic shoe category effectively eliminating the fee but when I look at my invoice I still have a big fee coming! How do I fix this?

Did your total selling price also include shipping/handling, taxes, etc. ?
The starting price of the athletic shoes alone has to be $100 or more. eBay is not clear if you qualified for 0% FVF if your sell price was $100 or more but included "free shipping". My "gut" feel says not but I'm not the judge & jury.
Here is eBay stated clarification for qualification.
‡The selling price is the final sale price of the item, not including shipping, handling, taxes, or fees. The final value fee is charged on the total amount of the sale.
Either way you need to contact eBay CS for clarification which can only be done on line (see link below). Good Luck

Your listing was not in the category that has 0% FVF for shoes over $100.
You listed the shoes in "Sporting goods > Team sports> Soccer > Clothing, shoes, & accessories > Shoes & cleats > Men." But the 0% FVF is for the category Clothing, shoes & accessories > Men's shoes > Athletic shoes (or women's equivalent category).
This same confusion comes up all the time with guitars, which has a discounted rate in one specific subcategory but not in others (such as vintage instruments).

Hi, Could you cancel the order & relist it in the correct place? Would that work? Stay safe all 🙏

That would be an out-of-stock cancellation, and it will give the seller a selling defect ... in the past, the seller's final value fees were also not refunded for that (I think that has changed ... now that if both parties agree to the cancellation, then final value fees can be refunded).

Paypal doesn't refund fees. That sucks about the shoes! I remember seeing that promotion for shoes over $100 free to list and no fees. At least I know now where to list the shoes I was going to. I once bought a jersey when Ebay had a 20% Ebay bucks for all clothing but found out because it was listed in sporting goods under jersey and not clothing under Jerseys I didn't get the Ebay bucks.
